Then, for two martini glasses worth of daiquiri I added 8 tablespoons of kiwi back into the blender with 100ml rum, juice of half a lime, three teaspoons of caster sugar and a few ice cubes.
I topped it with a little soda to fill the glass... bad move in hindsight as although the taste and consistency were fine, it left an unsightly froth atop the drink. A few more ice cubes would have been a better choice.
The rest of the blended kiwi is in the freezer to cool down, my wife will try something next
