Liquor supplier Diageo has selected a new interactive 3D holographic display produced by Provision Interactive Technologies to be integrated into an in-store merchandising unit, to be rolled out to duty-free stores internationally. According to Provision, the HL29T model allows customers to touch floating images to obtain more information on products, or in some cases, to manipulate the content of the hologram. It was first presented at the 40th Duty Free Show of the Americas in Fort Lauderdale.
Provision president and CEO Curt Thornton said: “Diageo is always looking for the next cutting-edge way to promote its brands. Provision’s innovative technology will be the ideal platform to do that in a new and exciting way.”
