Quittin’ Time is proud to announce the release of the highly regarded and authentic Doorly’s Rum range, R.L. Seale rum and Taylor’s Velvet Falernum from Barbados. ‘Doorly’s’ and the flagship ‘R.L. Seale’ rums are distilled and aged at the Foursquare Distillery on Barbados and are considered one of the best quality rums, offering versatility and great value.
Recently Richard Seale of Foursquare Distillery has also been releasing limited releases of special cask finished rums such the Foursquare Distillery Port Cask finish, which has become insanely popular in many countries overseas. The Port Cask is first aged in ex-bourbon casks for 3 years and then ‘finished’ in ex-port casks for 6 years. We are very lucky to be able to have this limited product available to us in Australia.
As a new addition to the Doorly’s rum family, Australia will be the first market globally to try the Doorly’s 8 Year Old Rum. The Doorly’s 8 Year Old is a blend of rums aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon and ex-cognac casks.
The Doorly’s Rums, R.L. Seale and the Port Cask and Falernum are available right now through Quittin’ Time and in select retail stores and bars around Australia.

60 ml of Doorly’s XO
15 ml Lime Juice
15 ml Taylors Velvet Falernum
2 Dashes of Aromatic Bitters
Stir in a mixing glass with ice and strain into an old fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a twist of lime peel.
